The Still Form – Gentle Strengthening of Self-Healing Powers
The Still Form draws deeply from the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is designed to gently strengthen self-healing powers and emotional resources. It combines acupressure, self-massage, and finger exercises integrated into Qi Gong movements.
The composition of 11 movement exercises is primarily performed while sitting on a chair. This form is particularly suitable for targeting specific body areas while fostering inner calm. The connection between the season, our physical and emotional well-being, TCM, and the exercises is explained clearly, enabling you to practice independently at home.
“Qi Gong of the Four Seasons” helps you harmonize with life’s constant changes—not fighting against life, but shaping it where possible.
Applications of the Still Form:
The exercises can be done while sitting, with one exercise also practiced lying down. This form is ideal for:
-
At work or in the office (even during breaks)
-
While traveling or on train rides
-
During illness or recovery
As the exercises require little space, they are flexible and practical for any life situation.
Finger Exercises:
In addition to the movement exercises, you’ll learn finger games that:
-
Activate all body meridians
-
Promote finger joint mobility
-
Can be practiced independently of other exercises
Seminars and Training:
We offer separate seminars for each season of the Still Form. These do not build on each other and can be booked independently.
